Lisa M. Shumway
Operations Team Leader
Lisa Shumway serves as operations team leader for McGohan Brabender Senior Solutions (MBSS) in Dayton, Ohio.
As the operations team leader, Lisa’s primary concentration lies in supervising the internal functions within MBSS including: commissions, customer service, enrollment, research, and administrative tasks. Along with these duties, Lisa determines the amount of work flow and oversees staffing to meet these needs. One of her many daily goals is to provide an opportunity for communication and open dialogue between internal staff and sales agents to help improve processes and service to clients.
Lisa brings over twenty years of professional experience to MBSS. Her prior designations include: office management, claims adjustment and medical assisting. In these roles Lisa learned and utilized the necessary skills to become a successful operations team leader.
Lisa is a certified dermatologic coder and is certified in medical office management. In her spare time she is an active fund-raiser and volunteer for the Crohn’s Disease and Colitis Foundation, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
